Contour

CarpeTools [Design]> Create> Irregular> Contour...

This is another tool to create patches for Abstract designs. The patches are created by the blend of Primary and Secondary colors. As with clouds effects , when you apply this effect, the design on the active layer is replaced.Generally contour effects is applied to create effects as shown below.

Different designs can be created by changing the scale (the size of the contour patten), Roughness ( roughness of the pattern ,or the edges and the Steps (layers of the contour )
