Border Tool

Shortcut Key:- O

Border tool lets you draws line Border easily around the canvas. Simply click and drag to create border.

Left click draws border of primary color

Right click draws border of Secondary color

How to Draw a border of 5 inches thickness?  

Steps:

• Set the unit of measurement into Inches (View >> Units >> Inches / Centimeters)
• Now make the Ruler visible. (View >> Rulers)
• Select Zoom Tool Click and drag the tool from the top left corner of the canvas to zoom the area.
• Select the Border Tool
• Now check the blue lines in ruler area horizontally and vertically and try to set the blue line in 5 inches and click the left mouse.
• It will create a single line border in the canvas at 5 inches
• If you click and hold the mouse key and drag the Border Tool from the top left corner till 5 inches to the canvas, it will create a border of 5 inches thickness.

Draw Shape outline : It draws border only with line

Draw Filled shapes: It draws border with color filled in the area

Draw Filled Shapes With Outline: It draws border filled with color and outline.

Button will increase the thickness of border line   and   Button will decrease the thickness of the border line or  use Brush Width option to select the required thickness of the border line.  This option is active only when the Draw Shape Outline or Draw Fill Shaped With Outline is selected.
