Galaincha is deployed online and not distributed on a CD. You will be provided a username and password, with which you can log in at
http://galaincha.com.np/ (using Internet Explorer). Galaincha will be automatically installed on your computer and run.
Should you encounter any problems while logging in, please refer to the Getting Started Guide. All documentation of Galaincha is published online at
http://galaincha.com.np/v4. The page also contains helpful video demonstrations. If you need additional information, feel free to write to us at

Q: Q: I have an old computer, can I run Galaincha on it?
A: If your computer meets the following requirements, you can run Galaincha on it.
- Windows 10 (64-bit)
- Windows 8 (64-bit)
- .NET Framework 4.6
- Inter Core i5
- 8 GB of RAM or more
- Full HD screen resolution

Q: Q: What is the .NET Framework? Does my computer have it?
A: The .NET Framework is a software framework from Microsoft. Galaincha depends on this framework for many of the tasks it performs, so the framework must be installed on your computer for Galaincha to work.
Windows 10 comes with the framework already installed, so you can run Galaincha straight away. If you are using Windows 8, there is a good chance that the framework has already been installed on your machine previously. If not, you will get a message while logging in and a link to download and install the framework. It is entirely safe to install the .NET Framework on your computer.
Q: Q: Can I run Galaincha in MAC ?
A: Galaincha can run in Mac, but not natively. Since Galaincha requires the .NET Framework and Internet Explorer to run, you will need to run Windows in the Mac and run Galaincha on top of it.
This can be done by installing
Parallels in the Mac. Or, if your Mac has an Intel processor and the Leopard Operating System,
Boot Camp (built in) supports installing and running Windows directly.
Once you have Windows running on your Mac, installing and running Galaincha is straight forward.
Q: Q: Can I install Galaincha on several computers ?
A: With the username and password provided to you, you can run Galaincha on several computers, but not at the same time. For example, if you are running Galaincha on computer 1, you cannot run it on computer 2 at the same time. If you quit Galaincha on computer 1, you can run it on computer 2 with the same username and password.
Q: Q: Can I run Galaincha without the Internet?
A: There is an offline option available which allows you to run Galaincha without the Internet. But in this case, Galaincha will be bound to one computer, and can be run only on that computer. Please note that even with the offline version; you need to be connected at least once to install Galaincha, and once every three months to keep your Galaincha system up to date.
Q: Q: I entered the username and password, but Galaincha does not start. What happened?
| A: Several reasons: |
- If the login area says "Your login attempt was not successful" (in red), then the username/password is incorrect. Please retype the username and password (and check the Caps Lock key too) and try again.
- If you get the "Launching Application" window and after it disappears, you get a message saying "User Login failed", please retry retyping your username and password. Also make sure that you are not logged into Galaincha with the same username and password on another computer.
- Galaincha requires that your system's date and time be correct. Please check the date, time, AM/PM and time zone and ensure that all of them are correct before trying to log in again.

A: To reopen Galaincha, you need to visit site
http://galaincha.com.np/login using Internet Explorer browser. On top-right corner of the site, you will see the login area. Please enter your username and password to reopen Galaincha every time.
